Look at my food!

I've lost like 20kg in the past year and the catalyst to my success was changing the way I ate.
I guess i'm absolutely proud of myself because no matter how much I've wanted to starve myself to lose weight, I never did.

Oooh damn Qistina will be so mad at me.
"kau cuba starve diri kau?!"
Yeah, honestly I have. Not proud, but not afraid of admitting it either.
In the end I always think:
Muscle wasting is NOT my goal. I'm tryna build guns, man.
Anyway, I prepare 99% of my meals (cause really there's no one else to do it for me #sadlyfe)

The changes I've made to what I consume are drastic.
Some of which are:
I used to eat rice atleast 2 times a day totalling up to 14 times a week. (normal for an average malaysian/asian)
Now I only eat brown rice (the size of those small colourful IKEA cups), 2 times a week.
I don't eat no white flour no more (unless Sarah offers me some of her chocolate cream filled bread)
I haven't touched a fizzy drink in 4 months 13 days.
I also have to make my own lunches everyday for school.
Its either I make my own food, or I don't eat and starve till the bell rings.

I mean, canteen food is great, but let's be honest here guys, its crap. Not literally, but really.
Suree, if you have the metabolism of a football player, then keropok lekor everyday isn't that bad I guess.

But if you have a metabolism of a fat teenage girl (such as myself) its not really an option.
(oh by the way, to my lovely friends who like to eat my lunch. Please dont eat too much of it. I LOVE YOU GUYS. But i'm starving.)

These meals I singlehandedly cooked myself.
Time consuming, sure especially for a 17 year old who's got tons of parties to attend to.
But you can't neglect health just cause you're busy.
Come on. if I can, You most definitely can!

A typical school lunch. this was instagramed btw

I get out of bed for the sake of breakfast
Baked chicken in Jamie Oliver's packaged seasoning with some smoked bell peppers and vegetables. 30 minutes to make tops!
weirdly enough, this would be my dinner. I would be scavenging the fridge for something high protein and end up with yogurt and fruits.  look at dem fine mangoes.
I accidentally scrambled my omelette :(  eaten with soy sauce and brown rice like a true asian should
BEANS! Lima beans to be exact with some turkey slices and avocado at the back.
HOLY BEANS!
MOTHER OF BEANS! does anyone remember that Beans kid from Even Stevens?
btw, the shredded chicken my maid originally made for the cats but I stole...classy.
Salmon with caramelised apples in fresh orange juice. oh yeah...and beans
