More food

So I've been clean eating for like, 2 weeks now

we had a fitting for our bridesmaids dresses. (My sister is getting married in 5 months)

and that was like a big trigger for me..

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IM GOING TO KEEP THIS UP IN COLLEGE :0

Tahun lepas punya laaaa bising pasal masalah obesity dalam kalangan pelajar.

Tapi buah buahan yang dijual kat kolej pun macam biskut.

 Sekejap ada, sekejap tak ada.

Telur goreng pun boleh jadi telur masak minyak.

 It's actually incredible they managed to mess that up that I want to cry and laugh.

I dunno man, this is something I'm so profoundly passionate about and I'm sorry if my ranting seems ungrateful.

ok,dah habis menangis. Lets talk food.

30 minutes until mum came home
Needed to cook fast!
But cook what? :0

I was craving for something healthy and filling, so i made burgers.

What burgers exactly?
Oh...very special ones

MUAHAHHAHAHA

They are basically green peas and tuna patties. (Which explains why they're green)
If you hate peas, or tuna. Then get out of my house!

I made a bean salad with a tangy apple cider vinaigraitte to go with.

My  god these were good!
I mean for something so random and weird these were marvelous!

My sister packed one for her boyfriends' tomorrow.

I also made chocolate lime cheesecakes the day before just cause i was bored.

Im so stressed but I lie to myself saying that I'm not.

We had our Malaysian University English Test today.

I was shakin' and nearly breakin'

I was candidate B and had to elaborate on intelligence in being a chairman.
Pretty simple, yeah but I was so nervous!

There was this preconceived idea in my head about how it was gonna go down (which of course it didn't) and a list of friggin humungous words I wanted to use. (I only used about 3 or so). So i was pretty a bit disappointed. 

But Alhamdulillah :) it could have been worse.

Believe me i was walking around using big words in my head a few days before hoping i'd be able to remember them during the exam.

"Yeah okay she didnt say hi to me.... Not exactly an amicable person, but im not gonna hate. Being rancorous is deleterious to your mental health"

My muet mates were Ali, Haidar and shafiq :D

Haidar kept us calm with his jokes. Omg thanks haidar.

Away from home

I've never in my life been far away from home for more than a month.

Well, I'm about to break that record with 5 weeks of being away from home!
Incredible!

The first semester is nearly over.
Then just one more semester to go.
Wah.

MUET examinations just started.
Its a phase in college where everyone starts talking english. Then after exams its like MUET never happened and the english language was never spoken of again.

We had our Academic Carnival AGAIN.

Does it ever end?
Putting "carnival" at the end of a sentence does not make it sound fun.

Just a bunch of things

Feels like forever since I last blogged :0
I promised myself I would never let this blog die no matter how busy I get!!!

So since I cant really caption my photos for some reason, im gonna just expain the photis here, and you can see the photos kat bawah ni. Kay?

So today we had the academic carnival again but this time was for computer sciences only. Esok chemistry pulak.

Then last monday we isolated some DNA which was really cool.
Dapat picit picit DNA bawang dengan jari (how rarely do you get to do that right?!?!)

I ate ayam goreng at orion with vegetables today. The plate of food opposite mine is shafiqs'. Ya Allah banyaknya dia makan :0. boys 😫

Then we went to a ceramah on
"cinta"
oooooooooohhh.
Things discussed in the ceramah included on
1. How to not be too tertaksub in the person you like.
2. If you like him/her, do you tell them?

Then mum called me during the ceramah and was like "haaaa hidayah, dengar ceramah tu. Jangan nak gatal! Asyik dengan afif aje"
Me: Astaghfirullah ma, I am not like that :(

Eating healthy In college

I'm back for the weekend :)))
Delicious food, come to me.

Its hard to eat healthy in college.
So hard.
But it's not impossible!!

In fact,  the sun is burning my skin.

Its 11.30am and its only been about 20 minutes since we woke up.

Sepatutnya hari ni syahmi ajar main bola, tapi ada family day kat padang sooo... tunda lagi :(

Im so glad I can relax today because I managed to finish two whole lab reports on genetics.

There was this one question ; a mother with O blood group gave birth to a child with the same blood group. she is in doubt that the baby is hers because the father is of AB blood group. Explain.

Somebody call Maury because someone hasn't been faithful. b-b-b-burnn.

Yesterday we had a PASS program for chemistry and our lecturer made our class a cake!!

"Baiknya dia, ya Allah!!!!!" Were all I could say the whole time.
she drove all the way here from home and  waited in the car to give us a cake.

I'm back home for the holiday.
I say "holiday" instead of "holidays" because we only get one day off :/

But anyways, I miss you shah Alam. Its been a while. (Padahal 2 minggu je)

In computer science class we are assigned to create a website. Mine is about eating disorders. Qistina, menarik kan kan?

Sarah flew to russia on the 20th.
Its weird because I dont feel like im far away from her, like she's still in Malaysia ya know.
She's gonna be spending 6 years in russia doing medicine. Holy cow!!

I just realised how badly I hate writing about facts. In our english test, we are to intepret data from graphs and  other stimuli and write an essay on it. It's something I absolutely hate that they call as "report writing". Absolute rubbish Blueghh.

I love writing about how inevitable death is, or how god shows his love by making the cloud spits its contents onto the human race.
But no. key features and overviews and synthesis and thesis statements and durations like what??
And I hate the fact that they have a formula for writing :/

Assalamualaikum,
I lost my dad to cancer a week ago today.
Being the youngest (and paling manja dengan abah) saying that I cried a lot on the day he died is an understatement.

When his body was being carried out of the house, tears came gushing down like a waterfall thinking "ni kali terakhir abah kat rumah"

Then Atiyah came and we hugged and we both cried.

All my best friends came later at the mosque.
thank you for being there for me through thick and thin.
I love you all deeply :')
