When life gives you lemons, make lemon jelly slices :)
Ingredients:
400g condensed milk (nearly a whole can)
2 lemons
1/2 packet digestive biscuits
3/4 cup melted butter
lemon extract
Lemon flavored Jell-O
1 packet plain gelatine
(I didn't really measure anything. just kinda poured everything in.)
1. Crush digestive biscuits in a plastic freezer bag until smooth with no crumbs
2.Melt butter and pour into cookie-crumb. Pour mixture into dish, flatten, and freeze.
3.grate lemon rind and squeeze the juice out of the lemons.
4. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon rind, gelatine (dissolved in the hot water) and condensed milk.
pour over hardened biscuit crumbs and refrigerate until hardened.
5. Prepare jell-o according to package directions. pour the cooled liquid over the lemon-condensed milk mixture.
6. Let mixture set. slice and serve.
These were really lemony (which I like)
you could tone down the lemony-ness in these by reducing the lemon juice and leaving out the lemon essence, though.
these tasted great!
make sure you grease your dish first! (I forgot. lol )

sometimes I have trouble with finding a suitable title..
My mother and I sent my riding boots to a cobbler (Pak cik comel yang depan Mydin tu)
I just finished my riding lessons so I had to take off my shoes in front of Mydin and walk bare-footed to the car which was parked in front of 7-eleven.
oh, the humiliation..
The cobbler said it would be done in an hour.
its been 5 days. LOL.
don't ask why we haven't taken the shoes yet.
we...just....haven't......
Here's a list of exactly what I did today
1.vacuumed my room
2.cleaned the fish tank
3.watch How I met yo mamma
4.thought about why boys watch porn
5.ate an orange
6.made pasta with buckwheat, spinach, olives and some old Grana Padano found in the fridge.

8.watched The Walking Dead.

CINNAMON-GREEN TEA CHALLENGE
I started challenging myself.
haha, challenge lah sangat..
well, there are two things that I'm trying to stick to and those are:
-increase intake of cinnamon
-increase intake of green tea
-increase intake of oranges.
(yesterday, Sabrina gave me RM100 and I went to Tesco alone. I bought premium oranges.
4 biji RM10! lol but they tasted awesome!)
These are some of the most healthiest things you could possibly eat.

Basically what I'm doing is:
-eat an orange a day
-drink cinnamon-green tea everyday.
I've been eating an orange everyday for the past 5 days.
booyah.
and I've been drinking cinnamon-green tea for the past 3 days.
cinnamon-green tea recipe:
1.measure out however much water you want and boil the water.
2.Take a cinnamon stick and as soon as the water simmers, drop it into the water. *PLOP
3.when the water goes into a rolling boil, you should see that the colour of the water turns a mild brown.
4.boil the cinnamon stick for another 5 minutes.
5.Take whatever tea you have and rip the teabag. place the tea in the cinnamon water and turn off the heat.
6. stir and let sit. *I usually read the newspaper when waiting. APE LA MALAYSIA 0-3?!!
7. use a sieve to sift the tea leaves and the cinnamon stick.
*You may add sugar if you wish to have diabetes.
(really, this is so nutrition-packed, I don't really understand why you'd put sugar. WHY?!)
I usually do this at night cause cinnamon makes you hot. (and sexy)
and you know how Malaysia is. Its summer every day.
so I take it at night when its cold out.

I wouldn't change a thing
The wind in my face, the sound of her hooves.
The adrenaline rush.
I was uttering the Kalimah Shahadah.
anything could happen.
If I let slip and she suddenly turns left,
I'll die.
I was counting her hoof beats.

we were galloping... I couldn't believe it..
I'm no great rider.
I've only fallen 9 times.
whereas my trainer has fallen off nearly 76 times his entire life.
I've only been riding for 13 months, since I was 15.
Others have been riding since they were 4.
but why do I feel so great when I am upon a horse?
because I feel free.
I was 2-pointing the entire time.
I couldn't hear anything else because all sounds were muffled by the wind.
I was so focused.
like I said, one mistake, and I'm dead.
literally.
My foot could accidently come out from the stirrup,
I fall shoulder first,
my whole arm would be broken.
probably even my neck too...
but among all the fears and endless possibilities of how my life could have ended today,
Galloping with Massa was the most beautiful moment of my life.
Nothing could ever change that.
Nothing.

So, we just watched twilight: breaking dawn part 2 just now.
(don't worry, no spoilers :) )
It was amazing.
coming from a potterhead, it really was.
ok yeah, maybe the whole Jacob imprinting on Renesmee was pretty pedophilia-ish.
but the movie itself truly was great.
I remember in one particular scene,
everyone in the cinema was like
"oh, thank god. thank god" and was panting in relief.
me, Qistina and Atiyah cried.
(I couldn't really see Shamirah and Mimi's face.)
you'll understand when you watch it.
after the movie, we went to the hardware DIY store.
(the same shop I bought my ship-model)

we went for our annual jog yesteray.

we just fast-walked while chatting. ((girls))

but alas, the movie could not be played.

I cried my eyes out at this movie too.
well, goodbye. I'm gonna go get ready to go to Space U8 with the gang to watch

A walk to remember
How sad is it, that I've never watched that movie before?

That movie came out when I was 6.
When my oldest sister was in high school.
Now I'm in high school (nearly in senior year) and I still haven't watched it?
Fortunately, Qistina has the novel and the movie.
She's lending me the book tomorrow and we're also watching it tomorrow after the jog.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we're gonna go jogging tomorrow ( all 11 of us) lol.
then, we're gonna go eat at domino's pizza. haha, I know..I know..
last year we did the same thing.
jogging, lunch, movie.
last year we watched titanic. This year we're watching a walk to remember.

Oh, I had a really weird dream last night.
Our school had a camping trip.
me and this girl (we'll call her Sasha) accidently touched this fountain.
when we went back to school, we found out that we had to be killed because we touched te fountain.
The teacher who was supposed to kill us was Sasha's mother.
we pleaded to Sasha's mother.
I remember saying in my dream:
"Tolong jangan! belum SPM lagi!"
then Sahsa killed her mother.
we split her body in half and stuffed them in bags and threw them away.
other people were asking "mak Sahsa tak jadi bunuh kamu ke?"
and I said "she changed her mind"
the first thing I thought of when I woke up:

The White tree of Gondor
By my blog's background wallpaper,
I'm sure you know that I am madly in love with The Lord Of The Rings.
well, I really want to try to replicate everything from the trilogy,
and paste it in my life. if that makes sense.
This is the white tree of Gondor:
As a teenage girl, its natural to point to things you see on tv and say:
"I want one!!"
So, here's my very own "White Tree of Gondor"

and here's teddy reading "one night stand" because he doesn't have the Lord of The Rings book trilogy.
Teddy told me that he would like a set of those books on his birthday.
Teddy's birthday is on the 10th of December.
Teddy is not forcing you, he's just letting you know.
Teddy thinks you look beautiful. even if you are a man.
Teddy likes your smile.
Teddy will see you tonight.
Teddy will bring a knife.
So yeah, I single-handedly constructed that tree.
I had to sandpaper it down first, to make it smoother ( no duh, that's what sandpaper is for, right?)
then I painted it with some water-based paint,
and sprayed it with "krylon's" high-gloss ivory spray paint.
I also made those origami cranes myself.
I bought the lights from IKEA,
which was a nice touch.
so here we have The white tree of Gondor. (with a touch of teenage girl in it)

being a nerd
You know how they portray nerds in movies/TV as the kids who build model airplanes, trains, etc.?
I am proud to say that, I AM A NERD!
I bought the pieces at the DIY store at Space u8 for around RM15.
took me around 1 hour to complete the whole thing.

I want to let you in on my life as much as possible.
These were the main bands that influenced my life.
keane, Coldplay and Muse.
Keane makes the most complicated music with so much feeling put into it, no one can really explain the true meaning behind their songs. All you can do is listen.

sadly, my mum accidentally broke my favourite album ever.
all my albums were stacked on my piano and she accidentally dropped them.
out of all the other albums, why you?
WHY?!
I remember the last day of the PMR paper,
when the examination finally ended,
I went back home and went straight into my room.
it was already dark outside but I didn't bother to switch on the lights.
I played that album and I just lay there flat on the floor,
and cried.
after all the hardwork.
after studying and studying, and endless nights of praying.
sometimes, when you've given your best, when you know the war is over,
its natural to just breakdown and cry.
This was also the exact album that Sabrina (my sister) listened to when she was in Medical school.
She said that these were the songs that she listened to during studying.
She got a GPA of 4.0.
So, listen to this album if you want to succeed in your exams.

Paranormal activity 4
We just watched PA4 about 20 minutes ago.
I've gotta admit, It was pretty good.
You've really got to watch the other PA's before you watch this one, though.
Especially the 2nd and 3rd one, because these two parts are critical to fully understand the movie.
The ending especially, will confuse many..
cuz I kno sum of u gon' be all "wut da hell juz happend?"
on a rate of 1 to 10 on scariness,
I'll give it a solid 4.
for the storyline,
I give it a 7
They use the f bomb quite a lot in this movie
I heard this little boy ask his mum "ma, f*** tu apa?"
good luck explaining that, ma'am.
and also, Balqees actually screamed in the cinema.
The rest of us acted like we din't know her. haha

I don't wanna be a stupid girl
"I LOVE YOU 4EVER"
these were the words that were carved on my desk during the examination.
there are two things that annoy me:
1. the fact that the "for" was short-cutted into "4"
2. and the probability that this was carved by a pre-pubescent 13 year old girl who was so immensely in love with this one guy in that other class.
How long exactly is "4ever"??

This reminds me of when Nadrah was so obsessed with the Jonas brothers.
Her whole myspace (R.I.P myspace) page was covered with Joe's face.
"I love them forever"
she used to say.
now, she's a hardcore directioner and I don't think she gives a damn about the Jonas's anymore.
"love" is a really strong word.
You use it at the wrong moment, you blow everything up.

The Hills are alive, to the sound of music!
So, my mum is a speaker at this seminar in a country far-far away.
She asked Sabrina to come (but Sabrina has to pay for her own ticket).
Sabrina didn't want to go because she would be all alone and I was like:
"What? you don't want to go?! but we've never been outside this country like, ever!"
It was true guys, not even to Singapore..
except of course we lived in England for a good 7 years while mum was doing her phD, but that's another story.
me:If you're scared of going alone, then can I come??
Sabrina:....
me: Please, please, please, please,please!
Sabrina:Oh....well...Fine!!!! But you have to be my slave for the rest of your life!
Me: DEAL!
She has to pay a total of 6k for the both of us.
being a doctor really pays off eh, sister?
We're going in February 2013 for a whole week.
and I know you'll say: "wey, kan sekolah!! dahlah SPM!"
and I'll say: "I know....but come on guys..I really want to go. besides, its just a week"
